Arkfin Investments Private Limited (AIPL) is the result of a team of finance professionals with cumulative experience of more than 300 years in the field of Banking, Finance and allied services contributing their intellectual and financial capital. Arkfin Investments, incorporated in May 2018, is a holding company under which the team intends to operate in wholesale and retail lending space.
Arkfin group comprises practitioners spanning three generations with functional expertise in business, risk, technology/mobility, secretarial/legal, accounts and regulatory domains. In a departure from the prevalent practice of ownership through ESOPs, the founding team members of the group have subscribed to the initial capital formation in the Company.
With a strong focus on innovation through digitization across areas of business, the group has been operating on a strict financial discipline to protect the capital right from outset. The objective of the Arkfin group is to maximize the value of its stakeholders through the journey evolving from a company to a corporate to an institution of repute.

The Arkfin group comprises of business verticals that intend to offer credit to end users at wholesale and retail level. Further, the group would have a distribution platform offering insurance products. Leveraging the vintage of the team in the financial services space, the group’s consultancy division would offer its technical advisory, fintech advisory, project management advisory and training and development in domestic and international markets.
Arkfin group has AIPL as Investment Manager to SEBI registered CAT II AIF called Arkfin Housing Fund (AHF), (SEBI (Registration No: IN/AIF2/18-19/0635 dated Feb 21, 2019), of which AIPL is an investment manager. The Fund is led by a team of highly qualified professionals having excellent track record in residential real estate space. The management team has strong vintage and have funded more than 2000 developers across India. The team has requisite expertise in legal, technical and regulatory aspects of the sector.
AIPL has entered into a definitive agreement to pick up 24% stake through preferential allotment route in a regional HFC. The HFC is a regional player providing credit access to target lower and middle-income families in semi-urban and rural areas of western part of India. Arkfin will deploy professionals from the group with an intent to expand the footprint of the HFC to newer geographies, strengthen the liability program, bolster the loan book growth, infuse impact/growth capital in next 18-24 months and enable the transition from a small size HFC to a meaningful contributor in increasing housing stock in India.

Arkfin Investments Private Ltd. (ARKFIN) is a holding company established in May 2018 by a team of veterans in the financial services domain led by Mr. Anil Sachidanand who have decided to take the “Arkfin” to establish a diversified financial services group that would offer financial solutions to the customers across the spectrum in the Indian financial services market space.
This team of experienced professionals are subscribers to the initial capital of the Company and aim to operate on the sound principles of corporate governance. These professionals have strong background in Banking, NBFC and HFC domains, with most of them having worked in leadership positions throughout their careers and have managed the balance sheets at various levels in their respective organizations.

A highly acclaimed veteran in financial services space, Anil with more than 28 years of experience has co-promoted and participated in various lending organizations. Anil has special expertise in incubation and scaling-up of start ups through building business infrastructure, distribution network and marketing channels. He is a veteran team builder with an innate ability to recruit, train and manage effective teams in diverse environments. During his career, Anil has been associated with IDBI Bank and HDFC Bank heading their retail mortgage divisions, with DHFL as CEO, with AHFCL as MD & CEO and also has international exposure (The U.S. residential mortgage space) heading Profolio Inc. Anil has worked consistently worked towards value maximization of stakeholders through successful building of balance sheets. He is a regular and an active speaker on various regulatory, business and Government forums.

Prashant Karulkar is a first generation entrepreneur and social reformer. Starting out as an agriculturist, Prashant has an entrepreneurial journey of more than two decades. He has interests in Financial Services, FMCG, the IT sector, agriculture & farming and affordable housing space. Over the years he has built up value across businesses; has a keen eye to spot profitable opportunities and build up sustainable enterprises. Prashant heads Karulkar Pratishthan, a non-profit foundation dedicated to the welfare and education of underprivileged section of the society impacting the lives of more than 3000 families without donations or fundraising externally. A political analyst and a columnist, Prashant has co-authored “Karmyoddha Granth” a book chronicling public life of Hon. Prime Minister of India, Shri. Narendra Modi. He was felicitated by Hon. Home Minister Shri. Amit Shah at the launch. He has been previously felicitated by RSS chief, Shri. Mohan Bhagwat in the presence of Hon. Vice President of India, Shri. Venkaiah Naidu for his contribution in social reforms.
